It's official!

October 3rd 2022 saw us open our first US office in Boston, MA. Having established a strong customer base across Europe, it was time to grow our presence in the US market to further support clients there and accelerate the commercial expansion in the US.

It's an exciting time, as RheoCube makes further inroads to the global R&D community.

Our CCO and Co-Founder Jurjen van Rees comments: In the last 18 months we have noticed that the US market, as opposed to the EU market, is one where there’s a stronger sense of urgency around innovative and digital solutions. The adoption of an enterprise solution like RheoCube is growing fast. To meet that demand, we decided it was time to open our own office there. That way we can service our clients there and respond to the faster commercial scale-up of our US operations.

The growing need to reformulate

Companies in sectors such as coatings, laundry, home cleaning and personal care are seeing increased consumer demand for products with new, or more sustainable ingredients. In many cases, those products are complex fluid formulations, which must now be changed from the ground up. As hard-pressed R&D departments respond to this paradigm shift, they also need to understand the impact new ingredients will have on factors such as product stability, cost, or production. RheoCube supports busy experimentalists working in those R&D labs, by providing a digital and fully integrated research solution to test hypotheses, reduce costly trial-and-error and accelerate their research.

Moving fast

RJ Lee, our Head of US Sales at RheoCube in Boston comments: Looking at how fast things are moving in the US now, it’s exciting to see RheoCube taking this giant step across the pond. It’s clear that many R&D departments need help as they grapple with new ingredients on a scale never seen before. RheoCube is uniquely positioned as the only platform that can provide the insights they need on both the meso and molecular scales.

From our base at the Cambridge Innovation Center at 50 Milk Street in Boston, MA, RheoCube will serve a growing base of customers throughout the US. Further new locations are planned, set to be announced in the future.
